In 1997 he became a license general contractor in the state of North Carolina. He has remodeled several houses and constructed new homes in the surrounding areas. Elder Ward was called into the ministry in 2006 and he later preached his initial sermon September 2006. In 2010 he started an outreach ministry the Word for Life Ministry. He currently serves as the President of the YPCL of the NWA Conference. His goal is to reach those who are lost. Pastor Ward’s passion as a builder in the construction industry, has led him to have that same passion in building others spiritually.
His mission is “Building from the Foundation Up”. He believes that if the foundation is solid, everything on top of the foundation will have a good support. He has a heart for the congregation, and supporting those in the community and giving back to those in need. He comes to serve the lost and love the unwanted.
“For the Son of Man is come to seek and to save that which was lost”. Luke 19:10
